The scope of work required that the shop remain open during the renovation and included Office, Jewelry Repair, and Showroom. The existing 2’x 4’ ceiling tile was modified installing 2’ tees and replacing the ceiling in a 2’x 2’ grid system along with new fur downs and regular ceiling tiles throughout the above-mentioned departments.  New walls were scheduled, and existing walls were to be patched, re-textured and re-painted. The most difficult scope was the removal of the existing ceramic floor tile and grout and replace with new ceramic tile entrance and vinyl flooring and wall base in the interior portion of the space. The demolition and replacement of new tile work was all performed at night, after business hours. Although all the work revolved around a mall that remained operational throughout the entire project, the efforts of the sub-contractors and the friendly cooperation of mall management made for a good working environment with the quality of work that made for a great finished product.
