We Have Some Great Programs to Help Your Business

Advocacy

CentexAGC serves as the voice of the construction industry at the local, state, and national levels of government, working to prevent changes that would adversely affect commercial construction. In the past two sessions, the construction industry quietly collected some huge victories. Stay tuned for the mid-terms, where all 150 house members, half of the senate, and state leadership will be up for grabs. As always, we’ll keep you covered on the happenings at the Capitol!

Safety

AGC members consider safety on job sites as a top priority in the workplace. That is why CentexAGC employs a full time safety director, and we regularly offer 10 and 30 hour OSHA, excavation, fall protection, scaffolding and confined space competent person classes, and First Aid/CPR. Most of these classes are available in both English and Spanish.

Insurance

As a contractor, one of your most important concerns should be protecting the health and safety of your employees. Get the best rates for your Workers’ Comp Insurance through CompGroup AGC. Quotes are available to eligible CentexAGC members through any licensed insurance agent.

Training

CentexAGC supports your continuing education by faciliating OSHA 10 & 30 Hour classes, and CPR & First Aid training. We have also resumed the Supervisory Training Program (STP) as of January 2018.

Scholarships

If you or someone you know wants to work in the construction industry, we would be happy to support your construction education with our scholarship program. Applicants shall have graduated from high school or be working in one of the eight counties served by the CentexAGC Chapter: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Limestone & McLennan.
