We’re proud to recognize one of our outstanding Central Texas AGC members, John Erwin Construction, for their work on the recently completed Fire Station #15, a vital addition to the rapidly growing West Waco community.
This $6 million, 8,200-square-foot facility was thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of the area and to support the health and safety of our first responders. The station includes a modern three-bay setup, individual sleeping quarters for up to eight firefighters per shift, specialized washing machines for cleaning protective gear, an apparatus exhaust removal system, and decontamination areas to ensure a clean environment before personnel enter the station.
Fire Station #15 is fully staffed with a team that includes a captain, lieutenants, engineers, and firefighters, with a minimum of three personnel on duty at all times. Its strategic location will reduce emergency response times and enhance service to the surrounding neighborhoods.
Congratulations to JE Construction and their team for delivering a high-quality, mission-critical project that strengthens Waco’s emergency infrastructure and supports the safety of both residents and first responders.
