AGC members consider safety on job sites as a top priority in the workplace. That is why CentexAGC employs a full time safety director, Lindsey Jacks, for the benefit of our members. In addition to general safety and health planning and instruction, he brings a wealth of experience to our safety consulting services including Air Quality Sampling, Blood Borne Pathogens, Contingency Planning, Fire Protection Planning, Hazard Communications and Noise Control Planning. Mr. Jacks is available for all of your safety training, inspections, and consultation needs.

We regularly offer 10 and 30 hour OSHA, excavation, fall protection, scaffolding and confined space competent person classes, and First Aid/CPR. Most of these classes are available in both English and Spanish. All AGC members enjoy a significant discount on course pricing! The Chapter also offers online safety training that includes a 10% discount for AGC members. Additionally, all members can take advantage of our National Organization’s Safety and Health Services, which provides a wealth of information and services on construction safety and health through numerous safety resources.
